Vision, generosity and the desire to help young players leads to the formation of NorCal East.

Thanks to the incredible vision and big heart of Rob Bruno, NorCal East Baseball was founded in 2008. A serendipitous meeting between Mark Helsel and Bruno led to starting a NorCal "sister organization" on the east coast.  The goal was to duplicate the success of Rob's famed NorCal Baseball program in Northern CA. Success, by NorCal's standards, is not solely based on winning and losing, but rather helping young and aspiring baseball players reach their God-Given abilities and to attain their goals.

Rob has opened up his vast network of contacts and shared his wisdom to help Mark and Dave Brisbin build their NorCal East program.  With 15+ years of experience of competing on the national level, Rob has alot to offer. For more on Rob see Coaches

NorCal East Baseball is a player development organization that is comprised of talented players from all across the northeast. Each NorCal East player tried out for one of the teams and was selected to play by the NorCal East coaching staff, professional scouts and college coaches. When selecting players, the coaches look for athletic ability and baseball skills. Players must also demonstrate outstanding character, hustle, leadership, posiitive attitude and a burning desire to be the best they can possibly be. They must exude a "team first" mentality and be excellent teamates. Finally, as evidenced by a team average GPA of 3.6 our NorCal East players must excel in the classroom.  All of these characteristics are a very important attributes and "must haves" to play for NorCal East.

NorCal East players receive outstanding instruction on how to play the game. Then, they have an opportunity to showcase their talents on a national level. This year's teams will  play in national tournaments in  VA, SC, NC GA, and FL. In addttion to the baseball skill training NorCal East players receive, they are also trained on nutrition, strength, speed, endurance and agility, as well as how to become a college or professional prospect. College and/or Professional scouts are usually in attendance at every NorCal East practice.

Tryouts are held each August for the following year's teams. Players wanting to tryout must be between the ages of 14-17 years old.  Players wishing to try out for one of the NorCal East teams should click on the Tryout link at the top of the page.
